Spray Painted Curtains

Submitted to Community Chat

This was one of those ideas that I wasn't sure would work, but once again, Rust-Oleum spray paint suprised me.

We have really tall windows at the front of our house, and I couldn't find any that I loved. At least no where near our price range.

I found out IKEA sold 118" long white curtains for only $39.99/pair. Twenty dollars per panel was WAY less than anything else I had seen. But, plain white was pretty boring.

I came up with a plan to tape off stripes and use regular spray paint on every other section. A couple hours later, I had the perfect bold curtains! This would be fun to try with a stenciled pattern as well.
