Another project for the Grands

Peter Rabbit is scheduled to visit the Garden Market playhouse tent….

All matte paints and sealer, with this project I did layer some colored pencils onto the

completed acrylic paint— it does add an interesting effect. Helpful for subtle fur and clothing shadows. I also did this on the recent ship painting when creating details were too tiny to paint. It is a layering technique that I might likely try use again.

The 3D carrot is a reshaped dowel with inserted overpainted jute twine greenery ( white glue drying now as shown in photos) pegged onto the rabbits body.

Mulling over the decision -to leave the bottom base natural wood or paint it green or soil tones.

My husband and I both worked on assembling this scrap lumber and bowling trophy base marriage compilation for our granddaughters play room. Blistered prior hand injury still healing after placing wood screws, learning to ask for help!
