Old Window painted for Halloween

Submitted to Community Café

The idea here was to get a lighted window for the porch. So I used a lot of leftovers and came up with this.

I took the window first and painted the frame to look like Halloween. Then I flipped it over and lined up some fabric pumpkin stencils I had drawn and cut out.next Next I used 2 X silver to lightly spray the background. Then I flipped it back to the front side and painted the pumpkin shapes loosely with some glass paint and enamels that I had on hand. Then I stapled the new orange flea market light inside the frame and gave it an orange textured fabric on back with staples. The fabric shows through and completes the loosely painted pumpkins. So now this is how it looks on the porch.I will use it for years to come expecially if I don't forget the RUST-OLEUM  Crystal clear enamel to finish it off.
