Cabinet Inspiration Stain Colors?

Hello!

I've been looking to change my kitchen cabinets since I moved in. They're brand new, but lack dimension and bore me. I found this before and after that I really like. When I finally got to the source, it turned out to be a professional cabinet service, and I don't think they'll be giving away their secrets any time soon.

I am hoping someone can help in identifying a shade similar to the "after" in this? Part of me thinks they just went super heavy with the decorative glaze and didn't even paint the cabinets? Any suggestions?
