Bookshelf / Toy Storage Combo

I recently learned that my college roommate is adopting to little boys.  With little time to plan and prepare for their arrival, I knew that she and her husband could use some extra kid-friendly storage space.  I found great plans from the Rogue Engineer site for this super cute bookshelf / toy storage combo.  I was really fortunate to find most of the plywood I needed on Craigslist, so my total materials cost was under $50.  It's a fairly straight forward project that I was able to completely build in a day and paint the next.  I surprised my friend with it over the weekend and she was so excited.  I love this community of builders and creators and I'm so thankful for people like Jamison (Rogue Engineer) that share free plans so that I'm able to share the love with others.  :)
