Project fail repurposed 🌞 Beverage sleeve adornment

My first attempt at 2024 DIY on a Dime challenge didn't feel like a suitable project to continue for what I was trying to accomplish.
Abandoned.
The Dollar Tree potholder fashion adornment fail was applied to an older thrifted XL neoprene beverage jacket where the potholders characteristic thickness and stitching and painted results seemed to be a better application.
Trimmed it a bit, sewed it on and some final painted touches now the beverage sleeve has a new look a customized attitude while does not impair jackets functionality. Something to look forward to using during this summers heat wave.
Protect fail rescue repurpose complete.
