Toy Story~Toy Chest “ Drab to Fab”

I redid this faded old toy chest I found at goodwill for 6.99. It’s really sturdy and well made. I filled in nail holes and sanded it.Then I painted it in Rust-Oleum’s Painters Touch Ultra Cover in Satin heirloom white and satin nutmeg. I painted the inside of the top in checks in the nutmeg color.
I replaced the hardware to ensure the lid stayed up strong and it shut slowly so no pinched fingers. I searched online for decals and found these Disney Toy Story ones on Amazon. They are top quality and really strong.
I got wooden letters and painted them to match and put them on with wood glue. Wah lah a snazzy new toy chest! Its for all three of my three and under grandsons to enjoy.
