Long Time Coming - Deck Cover

A couple of years ago I entered the "$5,000 Outdoor Transformation Challenge."  I got as far as the Support Phase where there were 8 of us left.  Even though I wasn't the winner, I still intended to make this deck cover happen.  Foolishly, my husband and I built this deck cover in the REALLY hot days of the end of July and beginning of August here in south Texas!  The cover is officially done, and in 2-3 weeks we will stain the whole structure once the wood has dried out.  My intention is to make a piece of yard art out of wood to attach to one of the posts, but that will happen soon enough.  Also, we have a couple of Sky Chairs that will hang by the fountain.  I'm attaching with the photos the before of the deck, and the original plan I sketched up....it's come a looong way baby!

P.S.  For those of you who recognize the Letter F....the Texas heat killed the Impatiens.  Ready to put some pretty Fall flowers in there next month.
