The Cat House

In July I was still working on projects for the back porch and I took a break to build a cat house for a friend.  I was ripping some boards and brushing small pieces away from the side of the blade, when I accidentally touched the side of the revolving blade and tore the end off of my index finger.  It has taken a long time to heal enough to get back to work and that finger is about 1/4 inch shorter; but I finally got the cat house finished.

I had some T1-11 left from the back porch project, so I decided to make it ranch style.  It feels good to be building again and yes, I'm never getting my fingers near the side of the blade again.  My first woodworking accident in over 50 years and hopefully the last - lesson learned.
