Chevron inlay twin head and footboard!

Just have these drying in the shop at the moment so I thought I'd give a rundown on how to achieve the stain finish :) 1) stain the chevrons various colours - can be varying degrees of greys and browns 2) wipe off 3) while still wet brush lightly over with Linen white quick dry stain (doing it wet helps it blend) 4) with a smaller brush (1" thick or so) Brush over some weathered grey 5) paint the surrounding parts off white and leave to dry 6) sand off some areas on the edges etc to distress and wipe over these parts with dark walnut 7) clear coat with Triple thick and you're done!!!
