Bye bye degraded ripped faded commercial cardinal flag.
Cricut drawn bird applied to canvas dropcloth, outlined with sharpe primed, painted and sealed. Bird applied to larger border panel with sewn sleeve.
Subject matter matches my other (3+2) whirligigs.
May look for another more pleasing cardinal design, but this is far superior to retail found nylon polyester flag for my needs. At one time I considered painting wood plaques for flag placement but the Ultra Cover has heldup nicely on canvas with year round weather exposure.
