New paver patio

I would like to stencil every other paver with a concrete stain and then put on a high gloss sealer.  I know rustoleum makes both and that's what I would like to use.  Do I have to etch a new patio and how long does it take the sealer to dry.  Also I am having trouble finding it in stores can you give me an idea where to buy these products. I just finished the patio and would like to finish it soon
