Help refinishing vanity lights on a budget

Updating master bath and trying to eliminate all of the gold/brass fixtures but the lights on the large mirror can't be easily replaced. Was going to spray them satin nickel with metallic Rust-Oleum spay paint/primer in one that's heat rated 200°. Is that safe to use to paint those gold arms with? They do get warm to touch and handy man said might need to get other paint to stand up to the heat better. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
