Wood Flower

I made my first wood flower this week, I've got a few more styles in the works. I showed my mom and she wanted it for the front door, so there it is!  I made the entire flower from one - 6 ft fence picket, 5 1/2" wide ($1.64).  I made a template, cut six of them out with a jigsaw, then painted these petals with Rust-Oleum Sun Yellow.  I cut a five inch diameter circle and stained it using Varathane Briarsmoke. I attached the circle with screws through the front since I liked the way they looked.  I kept this one plain but I'm working on some various designs.
