Better Than Sliced Bread!

Here's a simple way to feed old bread and rolls to the birds. I made these from scrap wood and leftover wire fencing.  All I did was cut two pieces of wood about 6-8" long, then stapled the wire onto each side of the wood. It was looped around the bottom then staped to the other side. Use thicker wood to accomodate leftover rolls, bagels and muffins. The cedar one was made from wood that was narrow. A slice of bread slides in easily. The larger one was made from 2x2 pine, I used Painter's Touch turquoise spray paint to give it some fun color.  Drill some holes in the top, use copper wire, rope, twine or cording to hang!
