DIY Wood Slice Serving Board

This was a super fun and easy project! I found this wood slice at my husband's Grandparent's farmhouse and decided to refinish it and surprise his Mom with this as a Christmas gift. 

After sanding it smooth, I finished it with WATCO Butcher Block Oil so it would have a food safe finish. My mother-in-law loves her wood slice serving board and uses it to serve cheese and crackers at family get-togethers. This makes a nice gift or entertaining piece during the holidays!
