DIY Sofa Table from 2x4s

Submitted to Community Chat

This table almost didn't happen. I hit so many roadblocks along the way. But, in the end, I finished it, it's square and level, and I love it!

I was part of a bloggers' challenge to build something out of 2x4s as the only kind of lumber you could use. I could use any knobs or connectors, but the only wood had to be 2x4 boards.

I used three 8-foot 2x4 white wood boards for this - that's all! Grand total for project wood: less than $8!

After I built it, I painted it with two coats of Rust-Oleum's Chalked paint in Aged Gray. I'll topcoat it with Varathane Triple Thick Poly (matte finish).
