Fun Light Fixture Makeover

We have a local place that people can drop-off and/or purchase used items from remodels and a variety of other things.  I went snooping around for fun a couple of weeks ago and saw this lantern that I thought would be fun to spruce up and put up on our living room ledge.  :)

I used Rust-Oleum's Metallic Paint in Flat Burnished Amber to cover the 'brass' after removing all of the wires, lighting parts, and glass.  I ended up putting trimmed flower blooms in the light fixture spots too.  I thought it turned out very nice and is a fun new piece in our home!
