Color of the Year 2024 was recently launched, and to celebrate, our community team presented an exciting product testing opportunity to Creator's Studio Superfans : sign up to test the 2024 Spray Paint Color of the Year !
Rust-Oleum's 2024 Spray Paint Color of the Year is Satin French Blue.
Each Superfan who signed up for this exclusive opportunity has been asked to test out Satin French Blue on one of the follow projects:
- an outdoor item
- indoor décor
- furniture
- a small statement piece

Tell us about your 'Color of the Year' project. What did you create and how did it go? Are you happy with the final product?
I chose to work a futniture project. I ended up doing two projects. The decision was hard of what furniture I would redo, since I had so many choices. The main project I wanted to take a bakers rack and make myself a coffee bar. The next was a child rocking chair.
First I cleaned both projects using rag, Krud Cutter and water. I cleaned up my project pieces as my prep. Next I sprayed my project pieces with this beautiful color of the year (Satin French Blue). I decided to use a Walnut and Kona blend for my shelf for the Coffee bar. I love the mixture of paint and stain alongside each other. On the Rocker I have a great grand baby boy on the way so this project came at a great time. I love how both turned out and now trying to decide where I want my coffee bar.
It worked wonderfully! Yes, i would use this color again.
It gave my project(s) a fresh new look. I love that I was given this opportunity to try the color of the year out. Thank you Creator Studio!
