Hi, I’m Shanice Figeroux, an artist and designer. I’m an independent artist exploring my creativity in NYC and looking to indulge in abstract expressionism and fashion design in 2023 by using different objects patterns and canvases.

How would you describe yourself to a complete stranger?
I’m willing to think outside of the box with my art.
What creative areas do you like to focus on?
I’ve hand painted and digitally installed 12 murals since 2017 and completed 21 free community events in collaboration with multiple not for profit organizations, small businesses, community gardens, local organizations and city council members.
What’s the best DIY project you have completed and how did you accomplish it?
My abstract murals and workshops bring a creative presence to the community. Filled with captivating shapes, colors, and designs, my work promotes artistic flair and expression infiltrating pain with positive energy through public art. I paint any style interior or exterior and make it more unique and alluring.
I want to set the mood a positive vibe great energy while adding a vibrant focal point to each location and creating a more harmonious setting. I believe my murals transform any canvas surface into a superb piece of art and promote unification.
Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know about you.
My vision goes beyond reality; it joins in union though one common factor beauty. A dream is only a dream until you create your reality. You can build a box, create your reality and live there [ART].
