Snowy Bottle Brush Trees

Submitted to Community Chat

I love bottle brush trees to tuck around my little Holiday village or to add accent to my decor. I'm not so fond of the green trees as they don't really go with my holiday decor so I decided to give them a makeover. It's a fun, easy an inexpensive diy. I filled the kitchen sink with warm water and added bleach and let the trees soak until all the green has been bleached out. Rinse and allow to dry. Once dry you can spray paint the trees if you want them a different color but I sort of liked the beige look. I sprayed the trees with adhesive and rolled them in artificial snow and voila! Fluffy trees! I added some to a sleigh that sits on my mantle and some to stocking holders. Happy Holidays everyone.
