I have 130 small wood pucks I am using as place cards for my wedding this July. I cut them from an Aspen tree and wood burned names into them. Each is approx. 3inch in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
Now I'm not sure how to finish/seal them. I just want some sort of top coat to protect them. Since I have so many to do though, I'm not sure what the best product/fastest solution would be. The wood seems quite soft and porous, do I need a sealant and lacquer maybe? Using just one product would be preferable. Any advice you can give me would be appreciated!!
