Keeping Time... in perfect harmony

We finally got this one finished!  It was our first clock and we made it for a local TaeKwando school.  They have been awesome to our family and we wanted to give back to them.  The lead instructor rarely ends class on time because he can't see the tiny little clock they have WAY over by the exit!  So a clock was definately needed.

The husband first started by making a jig for the router so we could get the beautiful circles. The husband the traced the Ying and Yang symbols and cut them out.  We had a local scroll work company do the numbers for us (we aren't that talented at the scroll saw just yet) Part of the wood for this was plywood (the ring with the numbers, the letters and the swoosh) and the other was MDF.  I thought our biggest problem would be gettng the paint to look consistent.  It wasn't, we used the Rustoleum 2x Paint+Primer and it covered beautifully, evenly and we think this came out awesome.
